Self-help

Apple devices

  • Using your device’s web browser, log in to the email configuration system here using your email address and password
  • Download the “Apple Connection Profile” for Email or for Email, Calendar and Contacts
  • Go to the settings app on the device and select the notification bar to import the downloaded connection profile

All clients (ActiveSync)

  • In your mail program or device settings, create a new email account of type “Exchange”
  • Provide your full email address and password when prompted
  • Calendar and Contacts accounts will automatically appear on the client

 

  • Some version of Outlook will not work with ActiveSync
  • Some email clients will not offer an ActiveSync option

Android and desktop clients (IMAP)

  • In your mail program or device settings, create a new email account of type IMAP or Internet
  • Provide your full email address and password when prompted
  • Most clients will auto-detect the settings at this point, but if not the full server details are as follows
  • Incoming
    • Server: mail.weblite.com.au
    • Port: 993
    • Encryption: SSL/TLS
    • User credentials are your full email address and password
  • Outgoing
    • Server: smtp.weblite.com.au
    • Port: 465
    • Encryption: SSL/TLS
    • Authentication required using same credentials as incoming

Android and some desktop mail clients (Outlook) do not natively support internet-standard Calendar and Contacts servers when you are using IMAP. To access these features on your devices you can either use ActiveSync or install a third-party connector.

Logging in

  • Your cloud instance is available at cloud.[your-domain-name.com.au]. E.g. cloud.weblite.com.au
  • Your credentials are normally your full email address and email password.
  • If you don’t use Weblite email services, your credentials will have been sent to you separately. Please call us if you are unsure.

Desktop client for file sync

  • Desktop clients are freely available here
  • Clients for phones and mobile devices are available from the app store or play store on your device
  • Please contact Weblite if you are having problems with your client connecting to your cloud server

Nextcloud usage and features

  • Please refer to the Nextcloud manual pdf file located in the root directory of your Nextcloud file system
